R&B/Neo-Soul Singer Jaguar Wright to Perform at R&B Live DC
Washington, DC’s Premiere Spotlight for Talent
Washington, DC (May 11, 2009) – As the summer months start to approach, the lineup for R&B Live DC will continue to heat up. This month will continue to be a jam packed event with an energy and groove that cannot be found anywhere else in Washington, DC every third Tuesday of each month. On Tuesday, May 19th R&B Live DC is proud to announce that Jaguar Wright will at Posh Restaurant & Supper Lounge. Jaguar is a Philadelphia based singer/songwriter who in 2001 gained much popularity for being a background vocalist on Jay-Z’s MTV’s “Unplugged”. Her most recent album is titled “Divorcing Neo 2 Marry Soul” which was released in 2005. She is now working on some new material. R&B Live DC will be hosted by the wonderful WKYS personality Antonio “The Cuban Cigar Smoker” and DJ Huck Fin will be spinning. The opening act for this month’s R&B Live DC will be an act who has graced the stage before and he goes by the name of Kevin Ross. Back by popular demand, Kevin will also be celebrating his graduation from Berklee College of Music (Boston, MA) with a showcase for fans and label executives. So far in Kevin’s career he has accomplished a great deal. From being crowned 106 & Park’s Male R&B Artist W.O.W Champion for 2008 and being named Best New Artist by AOL Music for 2008.
